Multan Sultans the sixth team inducted into the famous Pakistani Cricket League is all ready to rock in the 2017 season. The team is owned by popular Schon group. The group is leading property dealer in Pakistan and Dubai.

The newly inducted team is coming out with some real good news as previously it announced Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram as their coaching panel. They both had some issues previously but with this they are united again.

Pakistani Opener and previous Zalmi star Muhammad Hafeez is named as the captain of the sixth side of Pakistan Super League. Sri Lankan great Mahela Jayawardana is considered as a strong candidate for vice captain of the team.

Another news regarding the coaching panel which shows the level of team is that Australian captain Michael Clark may coach the team in the 3rd edition of Pakistan Super League.

With these news before the start of the season one thing is clear the team is challenging every other team in the season with some real good players.

The next edition of Pakistan Super League will be in Feb 2018 in UAE with six teams. This time after the addition of Multan Sultans. This time around 8 matches are planned to be played in Pakistan as well. Here let me tell you that the final of previous edition was held in Lahore which was a huge success.
